Hi,

I’m a bit hesitant at first about buying Tadalafil, but I understand this is a long-term option. I have heard from a number of people online who have had no issues before ordering. My initial experience with this drug is that it takes up to 36 hours to get to a full dose, but I’ve never experienced an adverse side effect. However, my understanding is that if you have taken it for a long time (or even if you’ve had the same experience in the past) you will have the opportunity to experience the side effects at the same time you will experience them at a later time. I am not sure how that would work for everyone. I’m hoping that this is something that the majority of doctors think is a good idea, but it isn’t.

I would recommend that you take Tadalafil as a long-term treatment to avoid the side effects of the medication that can occur without a single dose of Tadalafil. It may take longer for the side effects to manifest, but I think Tadalafil can help so many people who have taken it in the past. I would recommend that you take Tadalafil for as long as your doctor tells you to. They will likely try and determine that the potential benefits of taking Tadalafil outweigh any potential risks and then tell you to stop the medication if you have any concerns or questions.

Also, I’d recommend you read through the information on the web and ask questions about Tadalafil before you try it.

Good luck with your journey!

Blessed

Thanks for the replies!

If anyone else has questions about Tadalafil and their experience in treating benign prostatic hyperplasia with Tadalafil, I would love to hear them and I’ve had experience with that before.

P. S. I’m not sure where to get this, but if I can find a good online pharmacy to buy it, it would be worth my time.

I have a question about my Tadalafil prescription. I take it daily. The first day, I am supposed to take about 20mg of Tadalafil. The second day, I am supposed to take 40mg of Tadalafil and will have to take Tadalafil for around 2-3 days. The next day I will take 2 mg of Tadalafil and then 1 mg of Tadalafil for around 6-8 days.

Thanks for the reply. I am not sure where to get it.

I have taken it for about 4 years and it is my first prescription to date. I have never experienced any adverse effects. The only thing I have found to be tolerable was a small dose of Cialis, which I took for 3 months. The dose was about 40mg daily. I have been taking it for almost 6 months now. I have noticed that I get the same results every time I go back to my regular dosage. I do not like taking multiple doses, I just don’t like going from one to the other. I am taking 2 doses of Tadalafil a day.

I am not a very experienced person and I’m not sure what to do. I know how important it is to have a good experience when you are taking it. However, I would like to hear from someone who has tried it and is having a difficult time finding the right dosage.

I don’t know if there is a generic Cialis that can be purchased at the pharmacy or not, but I’ve had the same experience. My doctor prescribed it last week for a high blood pressure problem. It is an approved prescription and I had a negative experience when they gave me the brand-name Tadalafil. I was not sure if it worked or not, but I was a bit worried at first. I took it once with a glass of water and then it worked.

Good Luck

Interactions

A. Top Drug-Drug Interactions:

1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).

2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.

3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.

Other Drug-Drug interactions:

  • Ketoconazole, itraconazole (used to manage fungal infection)
  • Protease inhibitors (used to manage HIV infection) Ex. ritonavir, lopinavir
  • Phenobarbital, phenytoin, carbamazepine (medicines used for fits)
  • Rifampicin, erythromycin, clarithromycin (medicines used for bacterial infections)
  • Other medicines used to improve blood flow to the penis (Ex. sildenafil)

B. Drug-Food Interactions:

Cialis (tadalafil) can interact with certain foods and beverages, potentially altering its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. Here are the key drug-food interactions to be aware of:

  1. Grapefruit and Grapefruit Juice: Grapefruit can increase the levels of tadalafil in your blood by interfering with its metabolism. This may amplify side effects, such as headaches, dizziness, or low blood pressure. Avoid consuming grapefruit or grapefruit juice while taking Cialis.
  2. Alcohol: Drinking alcohol with Cialis can enhance the blood pressure-lowering effects of the medication, leading to symptoms like dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting. Limiting alcohol intake is recommended while using Cialis.
  3. High-Fat Meals: While Cialis can be taken with or without food, consuming it with a high-fat meal may delay its onset of action. Opt for lighter meals if rapid effectiveness is needed.
  4. Caffeine: Though not a direct interaction, combining Cialis with high caffeine intake might worsen side effects like headaches or increase heart rate in sensitive individuals.
